Education Goes Beyond the Classroom—So Do We

Decades ago our founders recognized that the cost of education made it difficult for hard-working students to afford basics like a warm winter coat. From that point on the S&W Fund has remained committed to assisting Hunter College students with the costs of education, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Today, we continue the generous and progressive mission of our founders by supporting students through academic scholarships, housing grants, internship stipends, graduate school application grants, and more.

Through the funding of private music lessons, an integral component in the training of musicians, the S&W Fund enables a considerably more robust and extensive applied music experience for our students. We are extremely grateful for the Fund’s ongoing support and generosity.
